Dr. Mojo

Dr. Mojo is a mostly-Blue Bear band that has developed into a popular gigging band in the Bay Area, consisting of Blue Bears Kathleen Leake on vocals, Dominic Haigh on drums, Paul Gutierrez on guitar, Rick McFarland on bass and Brett May on sax, plus non-Bear Gerry Della Bona on keys. The band began with connections made in a Johnny Nitro blues workshop and grew with strategic acquisitions from a Jim Peterson Soul and R&B workshop. They've been sending up some great, classic soul and rhythm and blues since 2005, and they're probably playing at a club near you sometime soon.
