Dr. Mojo

Dr. Mojo is a band that grew out of Blue Bear and has developed into a popular gigging band in the Bay Area, consisting of Blue Bears Kathleen Leake on vocals, Dominic Haigh on drums and Rick McFarland on bass, plus non-Bears Richard Southwick on guitar and Gerry Della Bona on B3 organ. The band began with connections made in a Johnny Nitro blues workshop and grew with strategic acquisitions from a Jim Peterson soul and R&B workshop. They've been sending up some great, classic soul and rhythm and blues since 2005, and they're probably playing at a club near you sometime soon.
