"I started taking a beginning singing class several years ago at Blue Bear. It was a great experience that motivated me to take another vocal class, then I did a couple of workshops as a vocalist. I resumed my guitar playing in earnest and continued with several classes and workshops as a guitarist.

"I found many great instructors, good friends and invaluable knowledge in all the classes I've taken at Blue Bear. Under the direction of Bill Spooner I was able to explore my interest in songwriting and released a four-song CD of original compositions in 2004. I am actually getting airplay in Italy. Needless to say it is quite a thrill.
