Shaun McGonegal
Shaun McGonegal is a seasoned rock, R&B, funk, Latin, jazz and
hip-hop drummer. He has performed and recorded throughout the
Western United States and Canada. He has played in numerous
R&B bands, as well as an 18-piece "Big Band." Shaun
trained formally at Ontario College of Percussion and has continued
his studies with Pete Magadini, John Pickering and jazz great Tony
Williams.
His work has included stints with:

- Richard Kermode (Santana, Janis Joplin) - Latin

- Ron Wilson (Sun Ra and His Alter Destiny 21st Century

Avant Garde Jazz

- Uptown Rulers (Band Leader) - R&B
His current band, Funk Monsters, has garnered rave reviews in the
Bay Area, and is readying their new CD, Funk from Beyond the Beyond
