Thanks to everyone who helped make our second benefit concert a successful, sold-out event, and an inspiring evening filled with wonderful music, friends and family. Proceeds support Blue Bear's continuing efforts to restore high quality arts and music education programs for youth across San Francisco and beyond.

Blue Bear School of Music presents Blue Bear Live,
our second annual youth music education benefit. Stax
legend and 2007
Grammy Lifetime Achievement recipient Booker T. Jones with
the Jazz Mafia Horns with special guests Bonnie Hayes, Vicki
Randle, Sista Monica, Larry Batiste, Amber Morris and
many more! Radio personality Sterling James will server
as Mistress of Ceremonies and Shantytown will
perform a late night set. Blue Bear youth performances
by James Lick Middle School and The Nash Brothers will open the show. There will be a silent auction including autographed
guitars from James Brown and Ben Harper plus much more great music
related memorabilia.
Member Discounts
Current Blue Bear Music Community Members may purchase one discounted ticket at $45, or two discounted tickets per current Family Membership. Discounted tickets are available only at the
Blue Bear desk or by phone 415.673.3600 during our office hours. General Admission and VIP tickets are also available through the desk.
Net proceeds from Blue Bear Live go to support Blue Bear's outstanding youth music education programs.
Blue Bear's Youth Music Education Programs
Blue Bear's youth programs provide a wide range of opportunities both at the school's Fort Mason campus and throughout the community. From the Little Bears Music Program to Studio 101 to the Summer Camp Program, through individual lessons, group classes and band workshops and through the school's commitment to provide youth programs at public and private schools as well as youth based community centers, Blue Bear is one of San Francisco's premiere youth music education providers. Net proceeds from Blue Bear Live go to support Blue Bear's outstanding youth music education programs.
