Blue Bear now offers select online music courses for guitar! It's the same high quality interactive instruction as Blue Bear's on-site classes, but with added flexibility that benefits students in numerous ways. Start anytime and take the class at your own pace. Never worry about missing a class. Access the lessons and materials anytime, with interaction and feedback from your teacher throughout the course. Hone your music skills and knowledge from home, or virtually anywhere. Want to learn guitar with family or friends in another town, state or country? Now you can!

Why take music classes online?

In addition to offering supplemental online material for our on-site guitar classes, Blue Bear is introducing online offerings of our popular Beginning Acoustic Guitar classes as well as engaging new online-only courses for intermediate/advanced level students:

Don't miss this unique opportunity to connect with a legendary musician in an interactive, intimate setting! Blue Bear's Master Artist Series is a combination of performance, technique discussion, personal stories and audience Q&A. Our Master Artist Series is both instruction and entertainment, for both musicians and fans!

Program 2 in our exciting new Master Artist Series features Elvin Bishop. One of the most respected guitarists to emerge from the '60s blues-rock explosion, Elvin was a founding member of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band and has shared the stage with such incredible artists as J.T. Brown, Hound Dog Taylor, Junior Wells, John Lee Hooker, B.B. King and the Allman Brothers Band. Elvin has released three well-received solo albums on renowned blues and roots label Blind Pig Records, including his latest release The Blues Rolls On, which earned him a 2009 GRAMMY nomination and four Blues Music Awards nominations.
