Blue Bear Live V will feature Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, a band that is earning the respect of veteran musicians, as well as acclaim and accolades for their dynamite live performances, with special guest Zigaboo Modeliste, legendary, pioneering drummer of seminal funk group The Meters, and more.

Scholarship Application Deadline: April 15
Now is the time to apply for Blue Bear Scholarships! Scholarships for musicians and singers ages 12-25 are awarded by annual audition. Applications are due April 15, auditions take place in early May. Scholarships are awarded on a variety of factors including the skill and accomplishment you demonstrate, the talent we perceive, and your interest and commitment to the study of music. Scholarships can be used for Blue Bear classes and lessons anytime over the course of one year beginning the summer after auditions are held. More info >>>

We're very pleased to host our quarterly showcases at Cafe Du Nord. Many nationally renowned artists play at this landmark San Francisco venue, so these showcases are an especially wonderful performance opportunity for our students - some of whom will be playing onstage for the first time.
