Giving Tuesday: Please "Feed the Bear"
Your generous support keeps music education alive for Bay Area youth.
Blue Bear is dedicated to providing opportunities for everyone, regardless of ability to pay, to learn and to play music.
Blue Bear's commitment to music education for all is well demonstrated at seven off-site Youth Outreach Programs in public schools and community centers, including two new programs at Bayview Hunters Point YMCA and at the Tenderloin Community Elementary School.
Without Blue Bear and your help, these kids will not have access to the gift of music.
You might know Blue Bear for its rockin' Little Bears program for toddlers, or for its lessons, group classes and band workshops for kids, teens and adults. Sliding scale tuition assistance and scholarships are a part of every Blue Bear program to insure equal access to music.
We must raise a minimum of $85,000 in year-end "Feed the Bear" donations to enable all of our current youth off-site, sliding scale and scholarship programs to continue.
If you've experienced the power of music in your life, if you believe that music nourishes, inspires and connects us, please help by contributing to this year's crucial "Feed the Bear" campaign today!
Help us reach our goal by December 31, 2013.
Given the size of our nonprofit organization, each donor is extremely important. A donation of any amount makes a real difference and is completely tax-deductible, as allowed by law.
