Blue Bear Presents serves as an additional avenue to showcase the talented musicians and bands affiliated with Blue Bear School of Music, and an important fundraiser to support the school's nonprofit mission to provide quality, affordable popular music education to aspiring musicians of all ages and skill levels.

The Blue Bear Showcases, featuring live performances by Band Workshops, take place at the end of every quarter. Past Blue Bear Presents events include our sold-out Blue Bear Live benefit concerts from 2006-2009 (featuring Los Lobos, Elvin Bishop, Booker T. Jones and Robben Ford), Master Classes featuring East Bay Ray of Dead Kennedy's fame, Stax legend, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and 2007 Grammy Lifetime Achievement recipient Booker T. Jones, and Tal Morris of Creedence Clearwater Revisited (former Blue Bear student and teacher), Little Feat at The Independent and more.
