Beginning Electric Guitar Online

This class covers the same materials as our on-site Beginning Electric Guitar class. You will learn how to tune your guitar, how to play chords, power chords and progressions, plus different rhythm-playing styles. Includes an intro to pentatonic scales and the blues. This course will enable you to add that rockabilly twang and super fast double picking to your guitar-playing! Pentatonic Scales 101: Soloing Over Rock and Blues

In this course you'll learn the different registers of the guitar, as a place to explore when generating riffs, basslines, hooks, catchy licks, rhythmic accompaniment, or chord/melody soloing. Using examples from rock and blues classics, the lessons will help you become proficient in switching scales, combining scales and chords, and moving around the neck.
