Vocal Performance Workshop
Wednesdays 7-8:30pm
Lynn Asher
A variation of this course is offered as a five-week class
Finding your authentic voice requires getting to the "heart of the matter" by owning the lyric and melody prior to delving into the technical aspects of singing. Lynn's unique approach assists singers in finding and developing that voice, allowing you to express yourself freely and without effort. Interpretation of the lyric, phrasing, vocal dynamics, and connecting with your audience, as well as pitch, timing, rhythm, key selection, mic technique, stage presence and other significant aspects of professional singing and performing will be covered. This class is recommended for singers who are interested in taking their singing and live performance skills to the next level. You should have a good ear and some singing/performance experience. Singers are encouraged to sign up for consecutive semesters to build their repertoire and skills. The class is tailored to meet the needs of each individual and includes one-on-one coaching in every class!
Class limit of 3; class will be lengthened to 2 hours with addition of a 4th person
Cost: $375 (or $130 3x)
