Learn to play basic chords and to play songs in both folk and rock styles. Also covered: tuning, guitar care, and basic strums. No prerequisites, but an acoustic guitar is required.

After School Songwriting with Bonnie Hayes
Tuesdays 4:30-6pm
Five weeks, every other week
beginning September 28
For high-school and middle school students who are already writing songs, this class will give you a chance to explore writing in new styles and to polish your work.
Cost: $275 ($75 non-refundable deposit)

These weekend bands are for tweens and young teens with at least nine months of lessons and enough skill to keep up in a group setting. Audition may be required; includes optional side-stage performance at the quarterly Blue Bear Showcases.
Cost: $295
