Youth All-Star Band Program
New Program for Talented 6th - 9th Graders!
2010 Blue Bear Youth All-Stars
at The Fillmore opening for
Michael Franti & Spearhead
As Blue Bear celebrates its 40th Anniversary as the original school of rock and roll, we are proud to launch the Blue Bear Youth All-Star Band Program, providing advanced-level training, songwriting coaching and performance opportunities for the most talented young musicians in the Bay Area.
We are fresh off of a successful pilot program last year featuring amazing performances by Blue Bear's Youth All-Stars opening for Michael Franti and Spearhead at the Fillmore, and at Blue Bear's annual youth benefit concert opening for the funky METERS at Bimbo's 365 Club. We are poised to create another exciting year for gifted young musicians.
